Does PartWall create a legal bedroom?
No wall product by itself creates a legal bedroom. Window, egress, light, ventilation, dimensions and building requirements must be evaluated separately.
Can the wall include a real door?
Door options are reviewed as part of the room-specific design, including swing direction, clearance and stability requirements.
Is building approval required?
Building, landlord and board rules vary. PartWall asks for those requirements during review and does not promise universal approval or permit exemption.
